I start by looking closely at what you already own with the goal of understanding what you love about it, and figuring out why the space isn't quite working yet. From there, I keep timelines realistic and communication direct, so the process feels as good as the result.

About Katherine
Design has been a lifelong passion. I love the way a well designed room can make you feel instantly at home, or how the right piece in the right place can change everything. That passion led me to Fritz Porter, where I had the privilege of working alongside Sarah-Hamlin Hastings. Her eye, her standards, and her generosity as a mentor shaped the way I see spaces and the way I work with people.
Good design is about knowing when to spend and when to stop. And almost always, it starts with what you already have. It's about understanding how you actually live, respecting what you already love, and making thoughtful choices that bring it all together.
I've called the Lowcountry home for twelve years, and Beaufort has captured my heart. I work exclusively in Beaufort and Port Royal because I want to be a designer who is genuinely invested in this community.
